Bridal Stylist/Owner's Assistant

About us:

We're a Los Angeles bridal boutique specializing in independently designed, handmade-to-order dresses and luxe bridal accessories. We're the bold and defiant alternative to traditional bridal with no shortage of romance and personal expression. We aim for a fun and stress-free wedding shopping experience where we meet one-on-one with brides and provide a personalized experience in putting together their unique wedding day look.

About you:

You're a type-A #girlboss and bride whisperer. Maybe the aspiring head of a retail empire, fashion designer or hot shot wedding planner. You're a sales queen, organizational genius and highly motivated self-starter. You're passionate about fashion and/or weddings and have a unique style point of view. You love working with people and giving clients a joyful, genuine experience. A fashion background with an understanding of styling/dress construction is a huge plus.

The job:

Approximately 25-30 hours per week with the possibility of becoming full time. Your job will vary day to day and will include bridal gown and accessory appointments, managing relationships and orders with brides, placing and tracking stock orders, keeping impeccable records and details, planning events and photo shoots, keeping the shop in sparkly clean cozy condition, and managing other day-to-day operations. Your ideas and creativity will be highly encouraged but you'll also be needed for the less glamorous stuff like steaming gowns and running errands.

Required skills:

-Top notch sales ability and high level customer service
-Understanding of dress design/construction
-Highly organized and detail-oriented
-Microsoft Word and Excel (especially Excel! Spreadsheet lovers come to us!) 
-Valid driver's license and reliable car

Bonus skills:
-Squarespace web design
-Bookkeeping and accounting
-On-set styling


Pay is DOE plus commission. Working on weekends required. We want you to be invested in the long-term growth of our shop and with us for years to come. We will love and value the heck out of you if you work your butt off for us.
